Although members of our Executive Team continue to own and operate their own home care agency, Home Care Access does not provide direct home care service. Rather, we are strictly a consulting service designed to help train and teach motivated entrepreneurs on how to grow and scale their own personal home care agency.
No, absolutely not! We do not pickpocket you! Franchises typically charge between 6 and 8% of total revenue from each franchisee. Our goal is to keep your business (at a minimum) above 20% margin. Of course, we want your margin to exceed our minimum target, but let's say you're at 20% margin, if you have a franchise taking 6-8% off the top, that's HUGE! That's the difference between you taking home $200,000 on a million-dollar business and $120,000 for the same amount of work and effort.
If you’re at 25% margin, and you have to kickback 8% to a franchisee, that’s the difference between you taking home $250,000 per year and $170,000.
Home Care Access is designed exclusively to empower you by growing your top and bottom line. More specifically, we want to help you grow your private pay clientele and gain profitable government contracts. We are not interested in undermining your success by limiting you to a specific territory and limiting your growth potential or burdening you with overbearing rules, regulations, and compliance, or pick pocketing you for monthly royalties and unnecessary marketing expenses.
Great question! The short answer is risk versus reward, but ultimately, it's because there are more barriers to entry in starting a home healthcare agency, and when you consider the dramatic increase in professional wages for physicians, nurses, and practitioners, the return on investment is disproportionate as compared to that of a non-medical home care agency.
Also, starting a home healthcare agency is much, much more costly and exhaustive to register and gain compliance because of the direct skilled care component as compared to routine personal care. In some states, the cost of registration and compliance can literally be hundreds of thousands as compared to hundreds or a couple thousand dollars.
Consider, the majority of seniors are not suffering from acute or chronic illness or injury. Therefore, there's great money to be made in personal home care providing routine care such as Activities of Daily Living (ADLs).
The crazy answer is both "yes" and "no!" HCA won't be directly involved in the actual search and recruitment of private pay clients and caregivers, but because we are a contract-focused business model, the contracting agency will feed you clients!
Further, it is without say that we will also assist in teaching you where and how to market, recruit, evaluate, train and retain your clients and caregivers. We will help you get licensed and registered for all applicable contracts and private pay work.
Yes. In fact, our immediate goal is that you first study our 8 disc DVD Series in detail. This is foundational material that you want to learn and digest prior to working directly with our Executive team. When you're ready to move forward with exclusive coaching, contacting us at support@homecareaccess.com and reference the date of purchase of your DVD Series. Your previous investment will be credited towards the cost of one-on-one coaching.
Yes, that's our goal - to ensure you're properly licensed, qualified, and approved to provide service for all applicable contracts available in your State.
Obviously, every state is different. All government contracts will have different rules, regulations, requirements, and rates of reimbursement, but we will work to pursue all available government contacts that we believe are profitable and feasible for you to service.
Understand, when you invest in our 120 days of one-on-one coaching, our goal is to assist and guide you through the process, but you'll need to be an active participant in helping us complete necessary paperwork, forms, and applications. Your involvement and expeditious response time is critical.
No. As the old adage goes, "Time is money, and money is time." If you wish for us to personally assist and mentor you, you'll need to invest in one-on-one coaching. Furthermore, if anyone suggests mentoring you for 120 days for such a nominal fee, the cost of our 8 disc DVD Series, you need to run as fast and far away as possible! Obviously, they have no comprehension of time, and they're definitely not making any money!
Working with client-providers for 120 is a significant investment in time and effort. The good news is that if you decide to move forward with one-on-one coaching after studying the DVD Series, your initial investment will be credited towards your private coaching.
No, absolutely not. One of the key objectives in working with you one-on-one for 120 days is to position you for contracts. Rules, regulations, expectations, intake and payment procedures can vary significantly between each contract/agency. For this reason, you need your policies and manuals to be customized to ensure compliance with each contract. When we work with you one-on-one, our goal will be to ensure your manuals are in compliance with all applicable contracts.
If you're seeking generic one-size-fits-all manuals, policies and procedures, to "cut and paste," like a template, you're missing the granular details and purpose of this exclusive coaching opportunity. The internet is flooded with an abundance of free and generic information. We don't advise you pursue these too-good-to-be-true offers, but if you do, be aware of what you're creating and your exposure to potential liabilities.
Because we know the only things that are guaranteed are death and taxes, we would never make a guarantee, but we are highly confident that within 120 days of working with you we will have your business operational, and as a minimum, you will have private pay clients. As long as all required licensing and registration are complete, we will have applied for all available contract opportunities. Because we can’t control the timing and approval process of a third party, it would be foolish for us to make such guarantees. However, we can absolutely guarantee our best effort to prepare, complete, and submit all necessary requirements by the time our 120 days expire.
Yes, under most circumstances we should be available for continued coaching, but please understand that, because we are working with client-providers for 120 days, we do need to limit the number of clients we work with at any given time. The last thing we want to do is not be able to offer the necessary time and attention to properly care for our client-providers.
Good question. The answer is sooner rather than later.
First, when you are applying for government contracts, they are going to request your web address on their applications. This is to allow them to further verify who you are, and also, they want clients to be able to verify who you are and ensure you are more easily accessible.
Second, other facilities and agencies that you might strategically partner with such as hospitals, rehabilitation facilities, the Office of the Aging, non-for-profits and other, they too will want to be able to verify your agency and associated services.
Third, in regards to private pay clients, you will find that many loved ones, frequently living out of area, will be searching the web to explore all potential care options in hopes of finding the "right" solution for mom, dad, grandma, grandpa, or other. Obviously, you will want to have an online presence with a well optimized website.
You are more than welcome to use any website and media creator of your choosing. The most important task is to ensure that you have "continuity in messaging" - that your website, your marketing materials, your policy and training manuals, letterhead and mailing materials, logos and uniforms, and all related agency items are branded the same.
Please note that our media team will only develop new websites. They will not work on preexisting projects created by other developers.
